National Weather
A trough in the east is triggering isolated storms in northeast NSW and southern QLD. A second trough is bringing patchy rain and isolated storms to inland WA and the NT, though much rain is not reaching the surface due to dry easterlies. A high is keeping the southeast clear. The southern jet is well south, allowing a high to develop over the southeast inland, bringing mild, stable weather to TAS and VIC. The northern jet is helping steer cloud across the interior.
