Do all listings have a Map available?

If the address details have been entered correctly, then every listing should have a link to a location map. Some listings, especially businesses that service a wide area from a single location, have chosen not to display their address details.

Why has there been a new design?

There have been a lot of improvements made to the White Pages® Online engine. It has been upgraded and updated. You'll also notice a number of functional additions. We thought it was appropriate that such improvements below the hood should be accompanied with improvements on the outside. We hope you like it.

I know my friends phone number but need their address. Can I do this?

No, this would be contrary to the Telecommunications Act ('The Act'). The only way you can search whitepages.com.au is by entering a surname and any address information you have.

How do I update my residential listing?

For new entries, or to update an existing entry, please contact your telephone service provider.

For Telstra Mobile non-business customers who wish to request a new entry for their mobile service or to amend the name or address of an existing mobile only entry, please contact Telstra Mobile customer Service on 125 111 (call charges apply).

How do I update my Business or Government listing?

How can I improve the look of my listing?

You may have seen listings on the White Pages® OnLine site that contain more detailed design such as graphics and logos. These types of enhanced listings can help give your organisation a more professional appearance to people using the site. These listings are all individually designed by Sensis or provided by the advertiser themselves. If you would like to know more, please call us on 1800 810 211.

I can't find it?

There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to find someone on whitepages.com.au, such as silent listings. If you are certain the number should be listed, there are a couple of things you can do:

  • double check the spelling of name and address details
  • if looking for a person in the residential area, try entering an initial
  • enter a suburb, the system will try to expand the search if it can't find an appropriate listing in the suburb you suggested
  • expand your search. For business or government listings try a State or National search. For residential searches try looking out at State level.
